Jose Goldner and his son Diego Goldner with a huge Dog tooth snapper caught on the Azuero Peninsula offshore of Pedasi. It was an epic battle between Jose and the Dog tooth snapper. Jose Goldner and his brother Christian Goldner left the beaches of Pedasi early in the morning in search of gigantic fish. Jose chose light tackle for his weapon against these Azuero Peninsula giants. Thirty minutes into the fight, Jose's rod snapped leaving him to battle this goliath of Pedasi by hand. Meanwhile Christian had quit fishing to drink beer and offer advice to his brother. Eventually the fish was landed and the battle was over. Fishing like this is an everyday event on Panama's Azuero Peninsula.
